Don't Be Scared

I don't understand why kids get so frightened when it comes time to get there haircut. They fight and they scream and then there hair comes out all retarded.. it doesn't even hurt! There are even places that are designed just for kids to get there haircut. They have like toys cars for chairs and the place looks like disneyland and it cost like 50 buck a haircut ! I mean, I acted the same way when I was kid but damn.. I just never understood why. Anyways, since the wedding is coming up we decided to cut my son's hair so he looks more appropriate. The last time we took him to a barber shop, he freaked out the barbers so we just decided to do it at home this time. It took us nearly 45 minutes to calm him down so we could start cutting. We bribed him with anything and everything and I even took one of his toys and started cutting its hair to show him everything was fine.

We ended up taking him to Mcdonald's afterward because we promised him. Hopefully the next time he needs a haircut it wont be so difficult.

Randomness

Been busy with school lately. Im trying to do my best so I can get out of Cerritos College already. I always have doubts after I figure out my major.. Its frustrating sometime to not be sure about what I want to pursue in life. Other then that, my girlfriend's cousin wedding is coming up.. our son is going to be the ring bearer. I need to start looking for a outfit that will be appropriate, I rather not wear a suit, just not my thing.

6:30AM American History class.. NOT crackin.

Kitty Makes All The Girls Gitty

The wifey and I decided to take a trip to LA to check out the Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary "Three Apple" Exhibition in Culver City.

I figured that it was just like any other exhibition, Art here Sculpture there but I was so wrong. My girlfriend was ecstatic.. if she could, she would decorate everything she could with hello kitty (thank god she can't though :D).

There was a pop up shop for limited Sanrio/Hello Kitty products as well as a shop for other toys/books/accessories. Mostly everything on display: plush toys, accessories, and clothing were behind glass casing.. girls might be tempted to take a few souvenir home haha..

They had a cafe that served different coffee's/alcohol and food. For the event, they had a special Hello Kitty menu. I wasn't expecting much from the food, considering that it was just a cafe I figured the food was just going to be average but to my surprise it was really good.

Overall the event was a great experience. With so much history behind Hello Kitty, It is no wonder why they have such a cult following. If anyone want to check it out, the event will run through till November 15.

Time Flies..

My son is going to be 3 next month. He is growing up so fast. Even though he is at his rebellious stage.. I love him.
